Description

This project aims at the development of a unified architecture to provide location information to apps in indoor scenarios. While smartphone applications nowadays can easily access location information outdoors using GPS and mobile network information the market for indoor Localization is much more fragmented. The UniLocP system will unify different localization technologies and provide a common, well defined interface for applications. Different requirements regarding position accuracy, delay and power consumption are merged and handled by a common localization service.
